Description:
The car was acquired for the 2003 season by Parker Racing and driven by Barry Horne who won the Carrera Cup with the car that year.
In 2004 the car did not race.
In 2005 it was bought by James Geddie, Apex Tubular Racing who did some testing, two races in the Scottish Sports Cars series, and one Porsche Open Race.
Pre the 2006 season the car was upgraded under the direction of Tech9 Motorsport. www.tech9.ms The engine was sent back to Porsche, Germany and upgraded to 3800cc and Dyno`d at 440bhp. The gearbox was replaced by a new Hollinger 6 Speed Sequential Box all at a cost of £49,000 [pounds sterling]. The original invoice/receipt is available.
In 2006 the car did a few Porsche Open races and was acquired by myself in October 2006 when the then owner bought a new 997.
This year the car has raced only in the Porsche Open, Oulton Park [5th & 6th in class 1],Silverstone Nat [5th in 1 hour] Snetterton [5th in 1 Hour], Silverstone GP[8th & 12th], Spa [5th in 1hour].

The car has done a total of 14300kms, but only 4300 since the engine/gearbox rebuild. This is recorded on the original invoice for the Tech9 work and original invoices etc are available
The gearbox is now rebuilt/tested by Jaz Motorsport at a cost of £13k including a new crown wheel and done zero hours since. Again the invoice is available.
