Lotus 51A/C Historic Fomula Ford single seater racing car for sale. Complete restoration to better than new condition by Classic Lotus Specialist Peter Denty. Totally original car, very rarely do you see one of these for sale, and never in such stunningly perfect condition. Ideal entry to genuine historic motor racing in a truly classic racing car. It has been updated to the later "C" specification, including correct Hewland gearbox and adjustable suspension.

In immaculate condition, better than new. Connaught Racing Engines motor on zero miles. Dyno sheet available.

On the button and ready to race. This car is totally legal, complying with all current regulations and eligible for all Historic Formula Ford events.

Spares package includes a spare set of wheels and new tyres, complete unused engine with a Neil Bold cylinder head, and early Renault gearbox in case you wish to convert back to early "A" spec. All parts are readily available to maintain this lovely car.

History file with the car including photos and all restoration details. Originally manufactured in 1968, one of the very first series of Classic Formula Fords. This car was originally raced in Canada and the USA.

The car can be viewed in Surrey.
