Description:
Van Diemen RF99 for sale.

The engine has just been rebuilt by
Bernard Baxter (BBE) and is giving good
power. At lot of talk is talked about
power out puts from builder X, Y or Z
but as long as you use the same Dyno you
can then be sure of any increase. Last
year my engine dynoed at 104 bhp but
this year after extensive work it is
putting out 109.8 bhp with 104 lb/ft
torque.

I am SURE that if it was run on
A.N.Others dyno it would read 114/115 so
it's on the money. Bernard's engines
are respected.

It's had:

Dipped and stripped block and new paint

New liners

New pistons and rings. Piston cut-outs
relieved to prevent over rev damage.

Valves lapped

Valve springs tested and
equalised/shimmed

Crank crack tested

New big end shells

Alloy sump machined true and flat to
prevent leakage. I like a clean car.

Machined and lightened Flywheel (to just
over the legal limit)

New Carb

New dizzie mounted ignition module

New plugs

Over £1800 spent

I have also fitted a new Brise, light
weight, high torque, starter motor

Further I have fitted Brand new body
work consisting of

Cockpit sides,

Engine cover,

Instrument cover

and one of Ed Moore's lightweight
noses.

This is all in white and currently has
some red, removable, vinyl graphics

Over £1400 spent

The car has been well looked after and
is in very good working order.

Recently had clutch seals, slave piston
and clutch sleeve,

side pod floors and stays,

Magnecor plug leads and a new coil.

Mintex pads,

Dog ring,

LD 200 in good working condition with 12
ratio's

K&N filter.

Pi System 2.

Polished Stainless Exhaust.

Bilstines.

Momo flat bottomed steering wheel

Castrol SRF brake fluid (the good
expensive stuff)

LED rain light

Set of new wheel nuts

Lifeline fire extinguisher serviced
spring '08

Radiators replumbed with light weight
silicone hose

Needs belts end of 2008 year.

Two extra sets of wheels and tyres

plus old serviceable body work i.e.
Cockpit sides, engine cover, side pod
floors and 2 nose's plus shock cover
and instrument pod cover.

A set of rear wishbones

The car is ex John Hutchinson's
Champion of Oulton winning '06 car run
by Medina Motorsport.

If you buy a Zetec car and convert to
Kent spec. there is talk of it costing
£18,000.

I'd like £13,750 but will consider
sensible offers.
