| Description: SOLD - NOW SOLD - SOLD The famous ex Kenny Acheson RMC Racing orange March F3 car, chassis no 13. Murray Taylor ran this car in the 1979/80 British F3 Championship for Kenny Acheson. Kenny ended up as runner up in the Championship in 1980 after many wins & podium places. The car was subsequently purchased by an historic racing enthusiast for his collection and was maintained in its original condition. It was only raced a few times during the intervening 25-year period. I purchased the car in 2005 and it then underwent total restoration by Tom Denyer Racing without any regard to cost. The tub has been rebuilt and the car has all new suspension, discs, fluid lines, bag tank, instruments, bearings, wiring loom, windscreen etc. All the uprights, steering rack case & other magnesium castings have been X rayed and re chromated. The car runs on original March 6 spoke wheels, which have been X- rayed & re chromated. All the bodywork is new and painted and sign written as original. The gearbox was rebuilt with a new CWP. The original Toyota Novamotor engine was fully rebuilt. The car has only been raced 6 times. The car, which is prepared to Historic F1 standards, is suitable for UK or European Classic F3 incl Monaco.
