Description: SOLD THROUGH RACECARSDIRECT.COM SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD 1971 911T (LHD) 2.2 matching numbers car accurately rebuilt to RS Lightweight spec. This car was imported from California in 2000 having had only 2 previous US owners in its first 29 years (2 previous owners in the U.K since). Large history file from both the USA & UK with original handbook and service book still in original wallet. Original shell with original panels apart from items replaced below with OEM panels/repair sections. Full photographic record (150 pics) and receipts of restoration carried out by marque specialist in London in 2003/4. I also have available a 2.7 engine and gearbox from a 1974 911. It was my intention to have this rebuilt to the correct MFI spec and fitted to the car. With this done I believe the car’s value will be much higher. This 911 not only looks beautiful and is almost visually indistinguishable from the real thing, but drives impeccably too with balanced, light and responsive handling.
