It has the 3.0 ltr v6 single turbo indy car engine which is just finishing rebuild at Nicholson McLaren and is capable of 1,000 bhp plus in period. The car was originally raced by Phil Conte Racing in 1986 and was mainly driven by John Paul Jr with Chip Ganassi on the Daytona entry on one of the rare times he drove a GTP car It is being sold as a fully sorted car and there is interest from the preparers to run the car in 2010 Group C/gtp events for the purchasers.
