Built to Group A spec, the car has a 500 bhp engine. The car was run by JQMF Engineering, with Chris alongside drivers Gerett Van Kouwen, Pierre Dieudonne and Tomas Mezera. Notable drivers in this era included the likes of Andy Rouse, Robb Gravett and Tim Harvey. After five races he would rejoin the Brooklyn Motorsport outfit. In 1986 and 1987 he had Toyota Corolla GT supported by Toyota GB and Shell. He would take 18 wins from 20 races. Hodgetts had previously competed in a Brooklyn Escort RS1600i. He competed with them between 1983 and 1985. |
