Description: Drive available at the famous Nurburgring for selected rounds of the VLN endurance championship and the Barcelona 24 Hour race. 4 and 6 hour races for 2 or 3 drivers. 24 Hour race with 4 drivers. BMW 135D GTR New build in 2011 at a cost of £125,000. The car was tested and sorted in various domestic races in 2011 before venturing to the ‘ring for the last round of the year in October 2011 when it was comfortably the fastest Diesel car there! We competed in 6 rounds of the VLN championship last year comfortably winning the class in all of them. This year the car has continued to win the class at the Nurburgring including the prestigious 24 Hour race. The car continues to perform faultlessly without any mechanical problems. 400 BHP, loads of Torque and sublime handling make this car a pleasure to drive and a proven class winner. The car was built and is run by Saxon Motorsport of Hereford and features the following:- Bespoke shell and T45 cage. Freshly built 400 BHP engine Bosch Motorsport engine management and loom Drexler LSD Purpose built suspension with KW 3 way adjustable shocks AP brakes with ABS PI data logging Pit to car radio with comprehensive Nordschleife coverage Flossman lightweight Carbon bodywork 18” wheels. 10” front ,11” rear. Dunlop tyres Spares package includes engine, gearbox, diff, all suspension, driveshafts, turbos, radiators, intercooler, brakes, bodywork etc. The car can be available as a whole for a team of drivers or a single driver can drive with Nick Barrow, Saxons owner. Cost is typically £4750+vat per driver for Nurburgring VLN and £9000+vat for 24 Hour. This new breed of Hi Tech Diesels are ideally suited to Endurance racing.
