Built by Errol Stafford in Warwick QLD who builds and runs multiple Escort RS1600's for many racers in QLD.

Its a really light car already so nothing much to do in that respect. With respect to what you could or may want to do with the car, there isn't a lot. when Errol build a body he builds them light and simple. It could be argued to put in a fuel cell but in Group N you have to run the original fuel tank even if you have a fuel cell installed which means extra weight. It runs a anti tramp rear end angled to stop any lateral movement and its the lightest way to do that. a panard rod could be installed and I have run Watts linkage in the past but this works better than all them very predictable. Errol put the switches in the centre of the consul which I was going move, only because when I do hill climbs and need to do a hand brake turn i keep knocking the fuel cut off switch but for circuit its not an issue. That's about the only thing I was going to do as everything else works a treat. With respect to the engine and drive line it is completely developed. It starts easily as well first time without effort which is a sign of a good BDA.
