Welcome to Formula Super GP,

Starting in October 2023, the Formula Super GP Championships will begin operation of the Winter Tour. Formula Super GP will feature 5 triple-header events (15 races) per season with two seasons per year, with the Winter Tour running from October to March (no event in December) and the Summer Tour running from April to August with approximately one event per month. In September 2024, there will be a special Invitational event where the top-3 drivers from both Tours will be invited to determine the Grand Champion. Formula Super GP events will be held at well-known and popular race circuits throughout America. For drivers who want to test prior to registering for the season, testing will begin at various US tracks beginning this July.

The cars of the Series are the FIA homologated carbon monocoque Ligier F4 currently used in the F4 United States Championship. All cars are prepared and set up equally by the Series. The cost of participation is $15,995 USD per each 3-race event, if paid per event or $69,995 for the full season if prepaid ($9,980 savings). The Series is an all-inclusive, arrive & drive Championship meaning the only thing extra you need is your personal driver safety gear. Each Tour’s awards include a $15,000 cash Prize at each event to the driver that scores the most points in the three races, $5,000 for 2nd Place and $2,500 for 3rd, prizes paid at each event a $50,000 cash Prize to each Tour’s Champion, $25,000 to the vice-champion and $10,000 to 3rd Place. We know of no other arrive & drive series where you can win all your money back in CASH and use it for whatever purpose you wish. The Grand Championship Prize awarded in September 2024 for the Grand Champion Invitational event will be $100,000 in CASH. Therefore, you have the opportunity to win up to $225,000 in CASH between the Tour’s Event and Championship Prizes and the Invitational Event Prize, providing a substantial budget for your advancement in the sport.

Formula Super GP is open to drivers as young as 14 (some restrictions apply). If there are 3 or more drivers ages 30 and above, there will be a Masters Championship where the Masters Champion will win a 50% discount off a full season in the following Formula Super GP race season. Trophies will be awarded to the top-3 finishing drivers in each race. Additional awards and contingencies are currently in the works.

Each 2-day event features two 30-minute open practice sessions, one 20-minute qualifying session and three 25-minute races. The 2-day events are structured so that drivers can arrive Friday night and leave Sunday afternoon, cutting down on time away from school or work.

Formula Super GP is an excellent and the most cost-effective way to advance into the world of auto racing from karting and gain valuable experience before moving into upper-level series with higher age requirements and higher costs. The Series is also the most cost-effective way to enjoy the thrill of racing competition for drivers who are more advanced in age.

In addition, the first 6 drivers who place a deposit of $50,000 towards the full season prior to June 1, 2023 will receive a 5% stake in the Series as a partner/co-owner. Balance ($19,995) due October 1, 2023. This ensures that you will receive ongoing income from the profits of each Tour following your first season. We have put this in place to assist our drivers in their future endeavors.

As a measure of security for all our drivers who pre-pay the season. Ownership of the Ligier F4 assigned to each driver will be retained by the driver until the season is concluded.

The cars of Formula Super GP are set up equally, so it comes down to driver talent that determines who wins, not how much money you can spend. If we determine that a set up change will make the cars handle better and faster, that exact same change will be performed on ALL cars. We will ensure that no driver will have a mechanical advantage over another driver.

Unlike other arrive & drive Series, our cars are not used in racing school activities. They are dedicated for this Series only and your car is yours alone for the entire season.

Formula Super GP is operated by an organization that has been in professional auto racing for over 35 years, including operations in Indycar, Indy Lights, Formula 4, Formula BMW, IMSA American Le Mans, Trans-Am and winning such prestigious races as the Mobil1 12 hours of Sebring in LMP2.
