1969 Lancia Fulvia Fanalone 1600

Ex-Works 1969 Lancia Fulvia 1.6HF Fanalone, Sebring 12 hour entry. Ex Innes Ireland. Chassis number 8185401002. An exciting opportunity to own the second, and oldest surviving, factory prototype. The car was supplied new to the official Lancia Importers Algar Enterprises to compete at Sebring, driven by famous Scottish F1 driver Innes Ireland and Mike Tilson. Ireland wrote a typically amusing article detailing their exploits in the race for Autocar called “12 hours hard labour” a copy of which is in the extensive history file. After the race the car remained in the US and was sold to Robert Clark who entered the 1970 Sebring 12 hour. There is extensive documentation of subsequent owners and historic races it competed in the 1980’s and 1990’s. It is also known to have done the Press on Regardless Rally. The car only visited Europe once (1999) to compete in the Tour Auto for which it had FIA papers approved. The current owner acquired the HF in 2005 and it joined his eclectic collection here in the UK. The car is in good sound working order and ready for immediate use. Although it currently has an unsilenced exhaust the car has previously been road registered in the US and we can arrange registration in the UK if desired. New FIA HTPs have been applied for (GB12621). We have extensive experience of preparing Fulvias for race and rally events (including two Fanalones) and would be delighted to prepare and provide on event support for the new owner. A unique part of Lancia’s history. £97,500
