Description:
Early type (1964 or 1965) Muncie M21 gearbox.
- Early type main case casting number 3851325.
- Tail housing casting number 3857584.
- Sideplate casting number 3831707.
- 10 Spline Input and 27 spline output shafts.
- Date code P0430.
- Unit turns freely although would doubtless benefit from a rebuild prior to fitment to a car.
- Front bearing retainer is damaged and two of the strengthening webs to the main case are also broken. The former can be obtained readily in the US for $30-40, whilst the webs could be welded up if necessary.
- Unit is located in Bedford, Bedfordshire and can be inspected with side cover removed if preferred.
