Description:
This engine was bought, second-hand, from Bob Ross from Luss in 1972 and was stored until 2015.
All machining work carried out by Chesman Motorsport to their highest standards.
Work and parts include:
- +.002 rebore with Mahle 9:1 compression pistons.
- H8 carbs (Burlen) with vacuum advance
- Long duration, standard lift cams.
- Large exhaust valves.
- Polished inlet ports.
- All seats, seals and guides renewed.
- Lightweight flywheel.
- High-pressure Oil Pump.
- Dizzy calibrated for 9:1 compression (123 dizzy available).
- High tensile head studs.
- Braided flexible head oil lines.
Engine was run-in on Knight Racing Services dyno for 1 hour and, without tuning work, tested up to 5,400 rpm. Will require final tuning to suit purpose.
Supplied on custom dolly. Can deliver within UK or prepare for international shipping.
