HJA is delighted to offer you this thrilling Ferrari 360 Challenge Race Car with many GT spec parts added to further improve this already amazing machine. This particular example was imported from Tokyo Japan last year and is a 1 owner car, street driven with no accident history.

This 360 has been owned and maintained by Nakumura engineering who are a very well respected one stop Ferrari shop based in Nara prefecture Japan. They have upgraded various items on the car from their custom carbon rear wing to the custom manifold and exhaust system which alone cost an eye-watering 1.7 million JPY or £11,200/15,500USD.

The owner in Japan particularly liked the idea of having a road legal race car for the streets so spent much time and effort modifying the car to be acceptable for road registration. Due to the fact it was registered as a road car in Japan its also possible to attain U.K registration which we believe only a handful of challenge race cars worldwide have been able to acquire.

The exterior is in fantastic condition, the front bumper is a carbon fibre NGT style with extra ducting channelling to the brakes. The side skirts are the M Tecnologia, rear bumper has been modified to accept the exhaust system, a prominent front splitter, and a large carbon-fibre rear wing. The car sits on a set of lightweight Volk racing TE37 alloy wheels.

A range of modifications over the standard 360 Modena make the Challenge model a well-honed track car. The 3.6-litre V8 is blueprinted, micro-finished, and sits on uprated engine mounts. Its gearbox also features an upgraded transmission control unit that enables faster upshifts, as well as a racing clutch with lightened flywheel. Uprated and stiffer suspension components are fitted throughout, including multi-way Quantum adjustable dampers with ride-height setting adjustment.

In the cabin, interior trim covers, door panels, and the standard glass windows are all removed, along with the sound-deadening material. In their place are a lighter front windscreen and rear glass, Lexan polycarbonate side window panels with slide openings, and carbon-fibre inner door panels with pull cords. There are FIA-approved fuel tanks, a bolt-in roll cage, and a fixed bucket racing seat with a multi-point harness.

Ahead of the driver is a Reverie dry carbon racing wheel and LCD instrument panel, and a fire suppression system is also installed. The Challenge model works out to be around 115kg lighter than a standard 360 Modena.

This 360 Modena Challenge is in fine mechanical condition, having recently received a fresh service with ICS motorsports Nov 2020.  This included renewal of the cambelts, all of the fluids were drained and replenished, including the gearbox oil, hydraulic fluid, engine oil and coolant. 

This Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge is a thrilling racer, which is eligible for a wide range of competitive events, including the GT Cup, Britcar Endurance Championship, Ferrari Club Racing Series and the AMOC Racing GT Challenge. It is an ideal entry route for an enthusiast who is looking to campaign a Ferrari for the first time, but could equally just be used for exciting track days if serious competition is not on the agenda.

 Presented in superb overall condition, this is a highly desirable race car that deserves to be thoroughly enjoyed on track and even road.
