4 x Championship Winning classic Mk2 Golf GTI 1.8 (8 valve) 1986 last of the legendary K´Jet manual injection engines. The engine was built by TSR a renowned VW performance specialist / engine builders and still goes like a rocket. 

3 x Winner of the Golf GTI Championships in Spain and also Winner of the Andalucian Historic Touring Car Championship. 

Ideal Car to race in Historic / Classic Touring Car or GTI Championships as completely original car except professionally / legally rebuilt engine by renowned British VW performance engine experts (TSR Performance), who completely stripped and re built to original specs except with championship legal 82mm rebore and 1mm larger pistons. 

TSR also rebuilt the gearbox and changed all bushes (original VW) and metal brake pipes, baffled the sump, renewed the K-jet fuel injectors, performance air filter and tuned on rolling road. Fitted with standard GTI Championship Race Kit, FAA Roll Cage, Racing Springs and dampers, Race pads and brake lines, Race engine mounts, Race anti roll turret bars, Bucket race seat, 6-point harness, Fire extinguisher, Electric shut off switch from inside and outside, Boot and bonnet race clips etc. Also 8x Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 Wheels  7Jx15  OFFSET = e35’s

IMPORTANT NOTE: This car is not pretty, it is a 4x championship winning race tool, with the battle scars to show for it. However, after a couple of championships, I did plan to put it back to it’s stunning first race beauty and already have 2 spare doors, 2x front wings, front sections bits, replacement rear quarter, 2x replacement side sills, lots of used spares and few sets of hardly used Toyo semi slick race tires etc. But in the end I decided that just respraying the battle scarred sides was much more intimidating to the other drivers and earned the car its infamous nick name “Zee Panzer”. As long as I achieve a sensible selling price for the car, I will include all the spares in the sale, so if wanted you can bring back the beauty.

I wanted to hold on to this car which still has plenty of championship wins in it, however, I have now decided to sell my car collection.
