LOTUS 61M Formula Ford

Genuine original 1971 F/F 1600 Kent car with chassis plate 61MX/F3/234. Exported to Canada when new and raced in selected events. Known History and with a Lotus Chassis I.D. Plate.

The car was re-imported into UK recently and raced only once before undergoing a complete restoration. WORK INCLUDED : Full chassis refurbishment by experts using the original Lotus Jig. 90% of the suspension was replaced and re-assembled with new bushes and rod ends.Replacement Aluminium Radiator fitted ( original unit included ) Replacement Spax Dampers fitted to replace original units. NEW " Low Line " bodywork finished in period Gold Leaf Lotus Livery. 2 sets of original panels with tail section included. MK8 Hewland gearbox has been checked and fitted with Lotus spec. sideplates , new rubber couplings etc. Engine refreshed by Neil Barnett ( invoice supplied ) and running on the button.
