Ralt RT1

This 1978 Ralt RT1 has been raced successfully in the HSCC historic formula 2 Series following its full rebuild in 2019. The car is ready to race and was rebuilt and maintained to a high standard by reputable historic racing team Hi-Tech Motorsport and has been prepared to current FIA specification and regulations.

The car has been maintained to ensure its competitiveness and this is reflected in the results it has achieved since it was rebuilt. The car was a race winner and the overall winner of the Historic F2 at the Silverstone Classic in 2019, as well as wins & podiums at Hockenheim, Brands Hatch and the Oulton Park Gold Cup.

Engine is a BDG built by Geoff Richardson Race Engines, with 450 race miles on.

Gearbox built and maintained by JP Raceshop.

During the cars 2019 rebuild the chassis was restored with new fuel cells fitted, all new uprights & suspension, new wheels & a complete set of new bodywork.

The car has up to date HTP papers with 9 years remaining.
