Description:

We have a full time position available at Phantom Racing Cars for a race engineer / mechanic.

Phantom produced sports prototype race cars within the UK & more recently Sweden for many years, and its now retrurned to the UK with the first of the new builds almost complete.

The position available will be to prepare and maintain the existing two Phantoms for the race season & numerous in season test days coming up.

It will also involve assembling new build cars & maintaining the race truck.

Its a newly formed company, and therefore there is the opportunity available for the right candidate to grow with the company.

Ideal requirements:

- experience working to high standards of race car preperation

- problem solving mindset & can do attitude

- the ability to work alone and unsupervised

- able to work all race weekends

- presentable & well manoured in a customer facing environment

- TIG welding skills though not required would be a benefit

- trailer or class 2 licence would be a benefit
