Avallone Lola T222
A rare oppotunity to own a historic Avallone Lola T222.
One of only eight manufactured in 1972/1973 and the only one still in use. Built by Antonio Carlos Avallone in Brasil the Avallone uses a Lola T222 body and is powered by a Chevrolet 6 cylinder in line engine giving approx 320 hp. Most of the mecanics are from the Lola T142 and it uses F5000 geometry. The chassis / spaceframe was designed and built by Avallone in Brasil..
The gearbox is a Hewlland DG 300 and can be used with engines generating up to 500hp.
Due to the high cost of importing tyres and spares for the Avallone, unfortunately the race category only lasted from 1973 until 1975.
The car is located in Parana, Brasil and was invited to join the historic cars parade at last years F1 race at Interlagos.
