Description:

Lancia Berlina Fulvia 2c.  Prepared for competition in 1992, with original Italian racing passport along with full race history.  Manufactured and registered in 1965 with the famous narrow-angle 1091cc four cylinder “V" engine.
The car was prepared in Italy to a very high standard and given FIA papers in 1992/1993 for the owner Gianantonio Boscolo, then being sold to Enzo Facchinelli in 1998 and finally Sergio Moratelli in 2000. The engine is astonishing, and never seems to run out of revs. A close ratio gearbox, lowered and stiffened suspension, and disc brakes all round complete the modifications. 13” wheels are used for racing, and 14” raise the gearing (and increase ground clearance) slightly for road use.

With no documented race history with Gianantonio Boscolo, the Lancia starts race history in the race passport in hill climb championships by Enzo Facchinelli between 1998 and 2000.  The car was then extensively raced by Sergio Moratelli between 2000 and 2003 with notes indicating, First, Second and Third finishes inclusively.

The car then remained in store until purchased in the UK and UK registered by us in 2021.

The car retains all original race stickers.  Body condition is more than excellent and engine also all in excellent running condition.

The Lancia has now been road-registered in the UK and has taken part in non competitive test runs at Sywell and Prescott.

The tradition of driving to, racing at and driving home from the venue lives on!

This Lancia is in exactly the same condition that it left the hill climb championship in Italy, hence FIA papers are all as they were set in 1993 / 1999.  Light modification shall be required to bring up to current race spec.

From what I can find, Sergio Moratelli remained an active and respected member of the Italian Hill Climb Community.
