This Alfa Romeo 147 GTA Cup 2.0 16V N-Technology Autotecnica (build number 036) is a thoroughbred cup racer which has been completely restored to the state it was in when it left the Abarth/Alfa Romeo factory in may 2003. In the past four years the car has been completely rebuilt. During a recent shake-down on the Assen TT Circuit in the Netherlands, the car worked flawlessly.
Originally built by Abarth (it was a project by Abarth for Alfa Romeo) , there’s very few similarities with the normal 147 GTA besides its basic shape. Only the bare essentials for going fast are there. Everything on and in the car works as it should. The 2.0 Autotecnica engine is mated to a sequential gearbox. It produces 275 horsepower at 7400 RPM. This can be lifted to 325 horsepower at 9000 RPM easily, but the car is setup for durability instead of pure speed.
During a recent alignment and setup, the car weighed in at 1011 kilograms including fluids, excluding the driver. The suspension is completely adjustable. The car is currently on Toyo Proxes R888R semi slicks which are almost completely new. If you’re looking for a ready to race, perfect racer: this is your chance.
