Bill Shepherd Automotive Ltd. is a historic race car builder and preparer based in Byfleet, Surrey, near the junction of the A3 and M25

We are seeking a full time experienced fabricator/mechanic to join our long established and stable team.

We build, prepare, rebuild and restore a wide variety of historic Ford V8 race-cars, from Cobras to Thunderbirds and anything in-between

We currently participate in around 6-7 race meetings a year, encompassing the main events at Goodwood with the Member’s meeting and Revival, Silverstone Classic, and others in-between

Our goal is to build and develop race-cars to run at the front of any grid

The successful candidate will ideally have:

•             Experience in Classic car building/restoring preferable

•             Reasonable experience in fabrication/machining preferable

•             The ability to work independently and to a very high standard

•             A full clean driving licence.  A Class 1 HGV or trailer licence would be an advantage
