Mike Jordans 1999 / 2000 TVR Tuscan Challenge Car

Built new by the TVR Factory for Mike Jordan to compete in the 1999 TVR Tuscan Challenge, after taking delivery of the car Pre season the car was stripped and rebuilt by Eurotech Racing to acheive the attention to detail that Mikes Eurotech team was known for.

Raced in the well known JG John Guest livery, Mike scored 4 wins in 1999 and 3 wins in 2000 on his way to finish second in the Championship. The car was sold at the end of the 2000 season as Mike moved across in to GT racing.

We purchased the car back in 2018. When it arrived back with us the car was still in its original paint livery (minus sponsor logos,) had the original interior paint scheme which was done back in 1999 to show off the Kevlar reinforced floor and Gearbox tunnel, had the origianl steering wheel and the same switch stickers that were fitted in 1999.

The car was fully stripped to a bare body and chassis, the chassis was bead blasted, checked on our surface plate and re coated, the body was restored and painted by Normandales. The engine has been fully rebuilt by Simon Woo who worked as a engine builder for the TVR factory race team.

The original Penske dampers have been rebuilt by penske UK to their period records and dyno graphs. We had a new chassis and engine wiring loom produced, along with new radioator, oil cooler, dry sump oil tank and Atec hoses.

The livery was then re applied usuing all of the original files by Action Grpahics who produced these in 1999 / 2000.

The car has completed 2 track days with Mike Jordan driving and sits here ready to go in perfect condition.
