Description:

The B38 was Chevron’s highly successful F3 car for the 1977 season. Built in large numbers the model scored success all over Europe and carried Derek Daly to the British Championship in the face of very strong competition from both Ralt and March.

Originally driven by John Lewis, with subsequent owners including Helen Bashford and Adrian Holey. This striking example was most recently raced by Matt Wrigley, who proved the car’s competitiveness with pole position and a second-place finish first time out in September 2020.

The Toyota engine was rebuilt by Tony Rolt only two races ago. The car is offered complete with current HTP papers, which are due to expire in 2026, and the following spares:
• 1 set of wets on wheels
• 1 spare nosecone and 3 splitters
• 4 rear wing end plates
• 1 rear wing main plane
• 1 rear wing trim tab
• 1 top wishbone
• 1 anti-roll bar
