The last of the Bruce Mclaren era, who would lose his life at the wheel of another M8, this iconic racing car embodies the ultimate fusion of raw power, performance and technical innovation. It dominated the Can-Am championship from '68 to '71 before being dethroned by the arrival of the turbocharged Porsche 917.

Our 1971 model is the 5th in a series of 6 versions. Fully restored, its 700bhp Chevrolet big-block V8 makes it one of the most powerful versions. 

With a cubic capacity of over 6.8 liters and weighing less than 750kg, this car is still a monster today, an irrational car the likes of which have never been made before in motor sport, and whose features are still impressive today.

It has a complete and irreproachable history in the United States in the Motschenbacher stable, with Bob Bondurant as its first driver.

Our example is extremely rare, as it is ready to race and has really been fine-tuned. The only thing missing is a brave driver willing to take the wheel to keep the legend alive.
