The Lamborghini Jalpa, a design by Bertone, was introduced in 1981 as the successor to the Lamborghini Silhouette and was designed as a more affordable alternative to the legendary Countach. With a 3.5-liter overhead camshaft V8 behind the front seats that delivered 255 hp, the Jalpa was only slightly slower than its big brother but offered a much more practical drive.
