McLaren F1 carbon fibre steering wheel centrepiece
Description:
We are delighted to offer this incredibly rare and special piece to market. This carbon fibre piece with inlaid F1 V12 badge was made by Herbie Blash’s Activa company for McLaren as the centrepiece of the bespoke Nardo steering wheel.
This early example was rejected because of the offset carbon weave and was never completed with countersinking to the holes and has been in a private collection since 1994.
In April 2022 it was hand signed by Gordon Murray at his Surrey home during an exclusive signing for MM.
A unique and unrepeatable piece.
