Motorsport98 is selling this beautiful Lola T298 chassis HU93 ready to race.

Racing and owners history.

HU-93 is the first chassis T298 build by Lola Factory in 1978. Equiped with a BMW M12/7 engine from Heini Mader, delivered new to the racing driver Jean-Louis Bos (France).

Started his racing career in 1979 being the Motul sponsored car of Jean- Louis Bos who won the European Hillclimb Championship wit it in 1979.

In 1980, the car was bought by the Carburol racing team allowing driver/owner Xiberras to finish 2nd in the European Championship in 1982 et 1984.

From the beginning it has ran with BMW M12/7 engine.

In 1985 the car was sold to Alain Schick, in the same year sold to Bernard Merian, then sold to Sylvain Stepak who paint it in dark blue, Stepak did a couple of CER races, and sold it to Olivier Cazalières who painted it in his own light blue color.

Olivier did a great 2009 CER season with HU-93, won his class, and decided to move up to DFV powered car.

Jean-Marc Merlin bought the car from Cazalières early 2010, give the car to Equipe Europe for a full rebuild, engine included.

Jean-Marc did just a test day at Spa with it, and decided to sell the car to the current owner in 2012.

The current owner did race Hu-93 at Spa in 2012, but decided to concentrate his effort on his Lola T70 MKIIIB.

Sinds 2012, the engine has been started and warm up every month, the car did a free practice at Mugello CER race in 2014.

The Wassermann engine has now 5 hours, the gear box,  is newly rebuild, clutch, wheels bearings, drive shafts have 1 hour, starter and alternator are new.

Car is ready  to race, and win  on the button, with new 2015 FIA HTP!!

Eligible for CER, WEC Revival and Le Mans Classic 2016.
