E46 M3 specification.

BODYSHELL:

2002 E46 m shell with v5 present. 

roof removed and interior de brackted, engine bay de bracketed and stich welded. underseal removed. floor fully stitch welded.

custom casges t45 international spec cage fitted with additional trianulated differential strengthening.

air jack tubes fitted, bulkhead holes welded. tilton floor mounted pedal box mounted on raised fabricated  floor. fia seat bars and harness points both sides. std battery tray shortened and raised.

permier fuel system twin quick fills fabricated in rear quater.

carbon roof, carbon GTR bonnet, light weight fiberglass front wings with lower vents. fiberglass motorsport front bumper which is quick release. carbon CSL bootlid. lightened std doors. lexan rear and quater lights. motorsport heated front screen.

interior painted in gloss grey,exterior in BMW titan silver. roof and bonnet in carbon.

AST 4 jack air jack system, all ATAC hard lines and Krontech probe.

Genuine BMW Motorsport Z4 rear wing chassis mounted.

 

ENGINE:

S54 3.2 Bespoke JE Pistons, bespoke forged rods, std crank, fully balanced items balanced individually then as a complete assembly. Tilton superlight  flywheel and tilton twin plate with alloy basket and rally diaphragm.  ARP basket bolts. tilton center push release bearing. ARP main, Rod, head and flywheel bolts.

Fully worked head, chemically cleaned. new guides, valve seats 4 angled.  supertech valves both inlet and exhaust single collet. supertech springs and retainers. Schick cams with bmw motorsport followers, Vac motorsport de vannos kit.

New chains, guides bolts though out. rebuilt throttle bodies running on DBW.

VAC motorsports uprated oil pump kit

bosch injectors, jenvey fuel pressure reg. all parts vapor blasted.

sileck motorsport wiring custom engine harness in Raychem.

headers modified for Egr sensors and ceramic coated black.

Geoff steel CSL Air box.

Edwards motorsport stainless light weight exhaust, fully v banded and large repackable rear silencer. no problems with noise. fully ceramic coated hearers, center section and rear section.

Laminova heat exchanger and CFS air to oil cooler. Large aluminum rad with ECU controlled cooling fan. Silicone coolant hoses.

power curves and dyno Videos all available. Engine has just been refreshed, and Dyno run in. new rings, springs, valves and retainers. fresh and ready to go.

TRANSMISSION:

DRENTH DG 400, recently rebuilt completely, (less than 3 hours on it) new bearings, dog rings gears, input shaft and all seals replaced. run on redline oil only. gear box cooler with vdo pump, filter as per BMW Motorsport. temp sensor for data. Drenth leaver with load cell.

Shiftec full closed loop paddle shift system, including compressor, actuator, valve block and paddles. ecu controlled. The car can be run on paddles or lever.

Custom prop shaft with new center bearing and rear cv to diff.

E46 large 210 diff with custom e36 diff and BMW motorsport 3.9 ratio. Built with new seals, bearings as well as a Cooler and pump set up. Twin oil coolers for diff. filter and lift pump.

billet diff mounts.

Drive shafts rebuilt with turner motorsport parts and redline cv grease. 3 hours old.

 

SUSPENSION AND BRAKES:

Ohlins 4 way TTX and eibach springs. AST front and rear top mounts.

rear TTX have 3 position rear soring platforms for 3 soring rates using one spring. all data available. fully rose jointed suspension using turner bearing kits and camber arms, solid rear sub frame mounts, turner motorsport top arm bearing kit. 

genuine wishbones with delirium rear mounts. eibach adjustable roll bars. custom drop links.

all bolts, bearings and joints only 2 races old.

Alcon 6 pot front calipers on custom hard anodized brackets.

356/32 floating AP racing rotors on custom bells and new bobbin kit. pagid pads.

AP rear calipers on stand disks. AP pads.

SRF Fluid only ever used.

turner motorsport carbon fiber front brake ducts.

Braided lines thought. tilton reservoir. SRF fluid only used.

tilton 600 series floor mounted pedal box and tilton cylinders.

E46 M3 ABS (Switchable) relocated inside car and pressure sensors for data.custome wiring harness for ABS control.

FUEL SYSTEM:

ATL 60l tank in alloy box in date. Also filling std tank as well, total capacity 120L

Twin Uprated bosch pumps. lifting to 2L swirl pot. Fuel pump out point and auxillery loom so no need for car ignition to be on. Drains every last drop out of the car.

twin 044 pumps (wired separately)

All jic lines and hard lines front to rear. billet fuel filter and roll over valve.

ATAC twin pump mount. Including pre pump filter.

WHEELS AND TYRES:

4 x Team dynamics pro race 1.2's 9x18 with good Dunlop wets.


 

This car was built by myself over the last 3 years. its my personal race car, a massive amount of research, time, money and effort has gone in to this car.

The car has tested a lot. Once we were happy we raced it. We won straight out of the box. In fact it won both times. With fastest laps and pole positions.

It is pretty close to immaculate and any inspection is welcome. It is on a ramp in a workshop for viewing.

I have hundreds of photos of the car during build. if you would like more please feel free to ask.

Rolling road print outs and videos will be available for inspection and the history file.

the engine has recently been refreshed for sale and run in. the gear box is at less than 3 hours oil and rear shafts have just been rebuilt.

Every single fluid has been replaced and it has its base suspension set up on it, its ready to race.

When this car was built every single item was new or up rated. It is good underneath and inside as it is outside. It looks stunning and has the performance to keep up with GT4 car in my hands! Put a better driver in and it would be epic!
