This is a rare opportunity to purchase a genuine Lotus Twin Cam CK49 1970 Ford Mk1 Escort which has been fully restored, rebuilt and prepared by leading specialists Power Play (Melbourne) and is now presented in absolutely pristine tarmac-rally ready condition.

This fully documented project, with hundreds of photos available has taken over 5 years to complete, sourcing original new old stock parts from all over the world with receipts of $200K having been invested into it.

This vehicle was originally built to compete in Targa and Historic Tarmac rallies but due to a growing family and business commitments it has been  decided to sell the vehicle. Less than 1,000 road kms have been covered since the completion of this comprehensive rebuild, having been driven to/from shows and the occasional outing around the block with the kids.

Although an original Lotus Twin-Cam with compliance plate, it was decided to replace the engine with a pinto and build it to RS2000 specs.

Shell was stripped back to bare metal and plastic bead blasted inside, outside and under body. Fully seam welded and gusseted shell. Fully welded CAMS approved roll-cage with anti-intrusion bars & factory steel bubble arches.
