SOLD .....On the button and ready to race my cherished 1.9 litre Mk1 Golf GTI 8v this car has been rebuilt over the last couple of years with a 1.9 litre (2.5mm overbore)mk2 8V engine- cylinder head by Jim Payne with solid shims and 300 deg cam running with twin 45 webers and 4 branch exhaust and Facet pump and baffled sump lightened flywheel and Sachs clutch . Silicon hoses throughout and ally radiator oil cooler etc. Running a Mk2 020 box with larger drive shafts and new Peloquin Diff. Brakes are fully braided with balance bar and  at front 280mm with G60 Calipers with rear disc conversion. Fully polybush and new GAZ Gold with adjustable top mounts the car comes complete with 2 sets of wheels (OZ and Ronal) and TOYO R888s & Giti. Poly windows and rear hatch (original glass is available)Fibreglass bonnet. Interior medium Cobra seat with new in 2016 Sabelt belts and plumbed in extinguisher. Full cage and Suede MOMO steering wheel.

Also comes with a complete ABF 2 litre 16v Engine and box complete with loom and 4 branch steel exhaust manifold

The car weighs in at a tad over 700KG and In Left hand drive this car handles like a dream, brakes like a single seater (well almost) and replicates the look of Richard Lloyds British Saloon Car Championship car of 1978 - an appreciating classic

Recently run in CSCC Future classics and eligible for CTCRC Classic VW and a whole host of other series. An appreciating classic being sold due to change of plans and I need the room
