Toyota Corolla E12 T-Sport 2ZZGE Club Racing Car / Trac
Here we have for sale my 2002 Toyota Corolla E12 which has been professionally built for club racing / time attack / Toyota Sprint Series or just as a serious track car. All modifications/improvements were made in-line with FIA rules and regs.
As always with these projects much time, money and effort has been invested in making it the best it can be - in this case no expense has been spared. The car was built with a view to running in excess of 300BHP at a later stage so close attention was paid to the brakes and handling. As it stands, it still runs the standard high revving 190BHP 1.8L 2ZZ-GE which makes it great fun to drive. At 8750 RPM on the aggressive cam it sounds superb. To extract another 100/150BHP it is possible to have this engine super charged with stock internals. If you are reading this you are most likely aware that the Toyota 2ZZ-GE is just about bullet proof.
I will now list below what modifications the car has:
.) BC BR Racing coil overs that are height and damping adjustable - these work wonders and were and excellent investment for this car.
.) 330 MM D2 Vented front disc brakes with racing EBC pads. These provide massive stopping power and never fade.
.) Racing Mobil high temp brake fluid.
.) Rear vented disc brakes (standard size) with EBC yellow pads.
.) Front, centre and rear body rigidity assisted by Laile Beatrush strengthening arms and Ultra Racing sway bars.
.) Adjustable front drop links fitted.
.) Uprated front and rear anti-roll bars fitted - both from Ultra Racing.
.) Laile alloy under tray fitted to enhance cooling and aerodynamics.
.) Laile alloy top radiator cover to aid cooling.
.) Mishimoto alloy dual core radiator.
.) Mocal 14 row oil cooler with touring car spec braided hoses.
.) TRD high flow thermostat that opens at 70 degrees.
.) Dual speed engine cooling fan operated on dash switch.
.) Light weight TRD flywheel with updated bolts.
.) Braided hydraulic clutch hoses and brake hoses
.) TODA racing oil pump - essential for this engine during racing use. Prevents oil pump failure when accidental over-rev occurs. Timing chains and tensioners were replaced at the same time whilst we were there. Only genuine parts were used.
.) MOROSSO high capacity sump with moving baffles to prevent oil starvation with hard cornering on sticky tyres. This sump is also able to cater for lubricating turbo charged engines.
.) Low oil pressure light.
.) Oil pressure gauge.
.) Oil temp gauge with over-heat warning.
.) Water temp gauge with over-heat warning.
.) Professionally fitted and plumbed in Life Line extinguisher - fitted in-line with MSA and FIA rules.
.) Professionally fitted kill switch fitted internally and externally.
.) Shift light.
.) Flocked dash.
.) CUSTOM CAGES roll cage.
.) Corbeu racing seat with TR harness.
.) Spare set of wheels with good Yokohama AD08's.
.) Custom built 80mm de-cat exhaust pipe (by John Danby Racing). Helps the car run better but is still quiet at about 96DB. Sounds incredible...
.) Towing points fitted front and rear.
.) Plastic windows all round.
.) Custom made plated clutch with concentric slave. Good for 300BHP should you need it.
.) Quiafe 6 speed sequential gearbox. Not had any use - just tested. Comes with a limited slip diff supplied and fitted by Quiafe.
.) Geartronics flat shifter that needs to be installed. These are just about £500 alone.
.) Comes with a spare low mileage engine.
I'm sure there a few things that I have forgotten but these are the main things that have made it a better car and so much fun to drive.
I have all invoices for the parts fitted so can provide proof for internal parts not visible.
