Race Truck/Motor Home Daf LF 45 150 2005

Professionally very well maintained Race truck/Motor Home which has gone through a professionally bespoke conversion to our requirements. Designed to carry one race car and as much kit as you could want. Sleeps 5/6. The vehicle is 6 yrs old in this configuration.

We purchased the lorry late 2012. It went to be converted and we started using it for the beginning of the 2013 racing season. So have used it for 5 Seasons. Only used for our race weekends and a bit of testing. We have covered 23,000KM. That's an average of 4600 km per year.

I have fully serviced the Lorry every year. If anything has needed replacing I have replaced it. The chassis has only covered 168,500 KM 105,000 miles

MOT due end of August 2019.

In 2013 4 x new rear drive tyres. 2x 12v batteries

In 2014 It had rear Brake Discs and Pads. Two new full kit king pins which are greased every year. 

2016 new Diesel fuel tank. 2x front steer Tyres.

2017 new twin battery tray. 1x 12v Battery.

Also has a couple of great driver aids:

Reverse camera with a large display.

Pure digital for digital radio and phone streaming.

Motor Home

It has two very large bed areas. One over the cab currently has a double(can take king size) and one over the garage area which is king size. The L shape seating lounge also converts into a double. Under seating storage.

Large Corner shower unit, full size toilet with Plumbed in flush and separate hand basin with mirrored vanity cabinet. 

Well equipped kitchen area with three way power fridge/freezer. Normal size cooker and sink unit. Plenty of cupboards for storage. Pantry style cupboard fitted with a micro wave. 

The large flush fit seizt Windows and two Heki sky lights give plenty of light. All equipped with black out and fly blinds.

All the lights run from the 12v. Plenty of mains sockets.

Gas fire is extremely good

Wall mounted TV bracket. Avtex W153D 15" free with the sale.

New 14 ltr hot water boiler powered by gas or electric. New 12v water pump.

1x 200 ltr onboard fresh water tank and 1x 200 ltr grey waste tank with tap.

Mains hook up (motor home style)

Removable partition to the cab area. Great to have the choice.

As you can see from the pictures. The under floor storage area is vast. With superb access through the many drop down cupboards. Very large twin door cupboard. Access from the garage area as well. Storage area and garage have lighting.

The large garage area with a folding tail lift maximising the space and weight capacity for the transporter.

This transporter will take many types of race vehicles including motorbikes and Karts

We have transported F1000 complete and BRDC F4 with the front nose cone removed. We currently transport a 2015 Radical SR3 RSX with no problems. I do remove the rear exhaust frame and panel to get it in.

It's been a brilliant vehicle and has saved us a fortune in hotel and transport costs.

Reason for the sale is we are no longer racing. It's been a brilliant time and we may come back to it in a few years.

There are a few marks and scratches on the paint work. It's not in mint condition. Like a race car it too needs to be maintained from time to time.

If you wanted more space in the garage area you could remove the rear bed quite easily. 

Due to the UK legislation and the age of this vehicle it does have a Tachograph fitted. As it's now classed as a motor home and is used for private use noted on the V5, it does not have to be used. It is limited to 90 KMH 56 MPH. Not for hire or reward.
