The Porsche Cayman is extremly reliable and most fun to drive for a reasonal budget.   Good secondhand parts are easy to find, because the parts are shared with the street legal car. 

The Porsche began it's life as a Porsche Cayman S (295 BHP).  It was used in the Italian Porsche Cayman GT4 series.   It has many updates : 

- revised motor (2019) 

- new secondhand gearbox (2019) 

- new diff (2019) 

- rebuild race dampers (bespoke and rebuild 2018) 

- two racing seats

- fire extinguising system

- pedal box with brake Bias (front / rear)

- upgraded brakes in front (996 GT3) 

- roll cage of course

- new oil and water pump (2019) 

In total i spend 18000 euro on revisions this year. The car has always been my test and trainingscar and was logged 100%. I bought the car 5 years ago and i want to upgrade to a new GT4 model.  

Although the car is not super fast (2.43 at Spa) it is still as fast as a road legal 991 GT3 for 20% of the price. 

So this car is really the ideal car for driving schools, trackdays, testdays, joungtimer racing.  It feels like a proper race car to drive. 

Very low maintenance cost, possibility to put slicks and wets. 

The car comes with one extra set of rims.
