this is a brand new group 2 fia ford escort mk 2 for use in peter auto,mrl and any other historic series.the shell is a 1975 mk 2 escort with most panels replaced including rear quarters,front wings,floor pans front & rear panels,bulkhead etc.the car was fabricated by shp engineering to a very high standard,body kit is zakspeed box arch kit in fibre glass.car is painted in the famous castrol zakspeed scheme.the engine is a brand new  2.0 alloy bdg on with lucas slide injection using a nikosil block built by tim swadkin and has 293 bhp and 190 ft lb torque with dyno sheet.the car has a complete simpson stainless steel front to back.the gearbox is a zf s5 18/3 with a correct gear set rebuilt by martin jones with new bearings & syncros and gearstick.the rear axle is atlas with new titan diff with new 4.3 cwp using a watts linkage.the brakes are new ap monte carlo fronts and ap single pot rears.front shock absorbers are nitron with 12 degree stub axles,rear are nitron.the roll cage is a safety devices bolt in with historic certificate.the fuel tank is 80 litres atl fuel cell.all the oil,fuel,brake lines and all fittings are aeroquip using kevlar pipe work.the seat is kevlar and uses a 6 point seat belt by corbeau both in date.the car has a new fev electric fire extinguisher.the car comes on 9 x 15 front wheels & 10 x 15 rears ,6 are compomtive spilt rims and 6 revolution/minilight one piece wheels all are group 4 centres.this is a brand new build and has been set up by shp engineering,just needs petrol and air in tyres
