With the values of the original period built GT40s now ending with several zeros and being cosseted in some of the most serious classic car collections worldwide, historic motorsport grids are now populated with the most authentic and potent recreations available, built by UK constructor and preparer Gelscoe, Motorsport. Built to exacting tool room copy standards, Gelscoe GT40s are the standard bearer recognized by race series organisers worldwide and quite rightly have a waiting list of clients wishing to purchase one of these race winning machines.

The car we are pleased to offer is a freshly built pre '66 FIA GT40. The car is powered by a Warrior Ford 289 FIA specification engine, which sends its power to the rear wheels via a five-speed ZF manual transmission. Built to Spa 6 Hour specification, including gear ratios and 140L fuel tank capacity equalling running time of around 2 hours and 20 minutes. Approved by the FIA, this GT40 will be delivered with a Historical Technical Passports (HTP), ready for the world’s most prestigious historic races.
