1966 Ford Shelby Hertz Mustang ; Originally delivered to California for Hertz prep : This car was converted to B/P race spec in 1967-1968; The car was campaigned in SCCA and was later acquired by Long time Shelby mustang race car builder and restorer Walt Hane of Evergreen Colorado. The car was restored by Walt Hane in 1984-1985 and continued to race thereafter. The car has a pro built fresh 289 Hi-Po V8 race motor ( rebuild by Reidy Racing ); 4 speed road race transmission ; R model brakes, rear window cover ; front valence , side air vents , interior , suspension , wheels , Etc. Currently in original livery as the car raced. Car needs a standard race prep , tires and fuel and is ready for track days or vintage competition. Beautiful original Shelby Hertz Mustang road race car. Can arrange international delivery and we have an assortment of spares that are included with the sale.
