Dallara F399 Hillclimb/Sprint Car

 

Very Reluctant sale of my Dallara F399 Hillclimb/Sprint Car due to business changes.

 

I have owned the car for 6 Years and had serious fun in it. 

 

It was originally converted into hillclimb spec by Piers Thynne. After this it was used in the British Sprint Championship gaining a Top 10 Number. 

 

I have had some good success in the popular K1 Class and featured in several Midland Top 12 Run offs. Some Midland Times I have set are as follows. Prescott 39.89. Shelsey Walsh 27.21 Loton Park 48.66. 

 

My initial attraction to the car was the shape and look of it followed by the size of the cockpit. The F399 has a very roomy Tub and suits most sizes of driver. Im 6ft and fairly broad. I had a Pro Seat made and its a great fit with the Shoulder Topper fitted as well. High Sides on the Tub offer great safety also. When I got the car it was a Teal colour, I had the car painted orange and replaced lots of Nuts and Bolts with Titanium and Alloy ones to reduce weight. 

 

I had big plans for the car and in the last year purchased the Ex Paul Haimes/Darren Warwick Alloy Block Vauxhall Engine. Having installed the engine with lots of new parts I have only ran it at Curborough. I was hoping to reduce my PB’s with the new power unit.

Overall the car is beautiful, I have just had the engine cover repainted after a little mishap (not clipping it on).

I will have missed lots but I will be very sad to see it go and hope to return back to something similar in the future.
