1985 IMSAGTO/Trans Am Corvette
Description:
Historic IMSA GTO Corvette driven by Heinz, Trueman, Thompson , Yenko, Kreider at Daytona & Sebring in 1985-6-7. Found disassembled about 10 years ago , stored, then restored to better than new, no expense spared by Ray Evernham's Big Iron Garage in 2019. One outing since at 2022 HSR Classic 24 where it won both sprint races.
Tested by both Andy Pilgrim and Johnny O'Connell at Road Atlanta and Daytona International Speedway.
New everything including PME 690 HP motor, Jericho transmission, brakes, shocks, cooling, wiring and fuel cell.
Fully photo-documented restoration including all invoices, dyno sheets, and initial set-up from Ray Evernham.
