If you are serious about winning in Historic formula Ford 2000 or Historic sports 2000 then this is the engine that will help you make it happen. 

This engine still holds 7 historic formula Ford 2000 lap records. 
It is  currently being totally rebuilt and prepared for the new owner. Having been stripped and eligibility checked during the 2022 season and found to be totally legal. 
Once rebuilt the engine will be run in on my dyno and power tested to make sure it's equal or better to the original power figures. 
The engine has great low down power with a high flat power curve rising quickly in the lower rpms. 
A dyno sheet will be provided for the new owner.

Spec

Custom ported cylinder head 

camshaft one season old 

oil pump two seasons old 

aluminium sump to stop leaks

lightened and balanced flywheel crank rods pistons clutch cover 

AP friction plate (they do not break like the LUK ones) 

Brand new vernier pulley

Carb only 2 years old and fully setup across the Rev range to the optimum lambda  

the engine has now been fully rebuilt and run in on the dyno. The power is higher than it was when I used it to win the championship pulling 131 real horsepower with an excellent power curve. It's ready to win again.   

 

I expect to have this engine ready to collect in early January. Bear in mind this engine was built to the highest spec I build my own engines and I can afford the time to build them to be as good as they can be I'm not working to a budget and this engine and how it performs reflects this. 
Quite simply you won't find a better legal pinto engine.
