Due to a change in business plans our competitive BMW 116 Trophy car is for sale as a full race package. We ran the car in 2023 for arrive and drive clients where it finished 4th overall at Croft, arguably could have been higher if the race was a little longer as it was the quickest car on track in the closing 10 mins of the race.

Originally built by a pro team / builder we picked it up late 2022 and went over the entire car to ensure it was ready for our business. It has some very minor scuffs on the bumpers and a wing but they’ll be replaced for the sale.

The car had a new fire extinguisher last year, has a few years left on the harnesses, is fitted with a Corbeau Revenge seat. It has all the optional enhancements permitted by the 116 Trophy regulations with the exception of the single polycarbonate window and the new offset bushes. The car is at the regulated minimum weight for 116 Trophy.

In 2023 we had an electrical issue with the DBW throttle and replaced the engine wiring harness and throttle pedal with genuine replacements from BMW in Germany.

It’s got almost new Carbon Lorraine brakes all round, has had regular services and proven to be competitive. For someone looking to get into the hugely successful 116 Trophy series you’ll struggle to find a better package for starting out, we can also recommend a team to prepare and support the car on events with as little or as much as the buyer needs.
