Porsche 911 GT2 R (993)
Description:
One of only 78 GT2 Rs built, it was supplied new in January 1996 to Hugh Price and John Robinson and run by Parr Motorsport for the 1996 BPR Global GT series. It was subsequently upgraded to Evo spec by Roock Racing who then ran the car in the FIA GT Championship from 1997 until 1999.
It retired from racing in 2000 and was sold to a UK Porsche collector in 2006 who later commissioned a full restoration which was completed in 2016. It has been unused since.
With a fantastic race history including the Le Mans 24hr, this 'collectors grade' factory-built GT2 R would suit a discerning Porsche collector and would also be a welcome entry in the Endurance Racing Legends series run by Peter Auto.
