We are thrilled to present this exceptional 1980 Tyrrell 010 Formula 1 car, chassis number 010-5, boasting a rich racing heritage and meticulously restored to its former glory.

- Fresh long stroke DFV engine and rebuilt gearbox (zero miles)

Racing Pedigree:
Tyrrell's 010 was their 1980 F1 car which they used into the 1981 season, it was a ground effects car heavily influenced by the Williams FW07.
Despite their lack of funding the 010s were quite competitive often running in the top 6 places with their best points scoring results being three 4th places, five 5ths and one 6th.
But they are probably best known for some spectacular accidents, with Derek Daly flying over the top of his team mate Jean Pierre Jarier at Monaco, or flying into the wall at Zandvoort.
This iconic car:-
010-5 was built up in the paddock at the German GP for Derek Daly and was then used by Jarier until the end of the season. Finished 5th in the Canadian GP
It was fitted with pull rod suspension and tested at Paul Ricard on the 4th of December, this suspension would then be used on the 011, 012 & 014.
The shape of the modified nose led the mechanics to refer to 010-5 as K9 after Dr Who's dog!
