Sir Patrick Head (Williams F1 co-founder) designed Delta T78, holding multiple HSCC Historic FF2000 race wins. Proven in June 2025 at Donington Park on current spec. Hossier tyres, with P2 in Qualifying and double-podium finishes. Fastest car through all three speed traps. This car is capable of running in the front pack at all UK circuits - take the performance unknowns out of purchasing an FF2000 and beat those Reynards!

Fast but forgiving to drive, in both wet and dry conditions. The engine, which is one of the strongest on the grid (further optimised in June 2025 by Benn Simms) has recently received a head refresh and bottom end inspection. Gearbox rebuilt June 2025 at JPR Competition. The car has been expertly setup by Nigel Grant Motorport to genrate high levels of mechanical grip with good front to rear balance (some Deltas suffer from excessive understeer), allowing it to run very low rear wing levels whilst remaining stable. The car is fitted with a high aero (low drag) nose with extended splitter (many Deltas are not) contrubuting to its excellent aero balance.

With genuine provenance, its current livery recreates that run in period to great sucess by Ian Briggs. The car is identified with original Delta factory chassis plate #008 and supplied with period photos and press clippings. 

Ready to race at the front of the grid, developed and maintained with the support of Nigel Grant Motorsport, with recent damper dyno at Bilstein, new front wheel bearings, brake master cylinders, brake pads, carburetor, ignition system, battery, and current fire extinguisher.

Supplied with 1 set of Hoosier slicks and mag wheels. By negotiation: 1 set of Avon slicks and Avon wets, both on mag wheels. Range of alternate gear ratios, starter battery and assorted spares. 

HSCC's Historic FF2000 is a great, friendly club, forming a cost effective entry point to fun and competitive historic slicks and wings racing. The car is also eligible for European historic forumla racing.
