Tork Engineering Bioracer 4.0L Prototype

This 2008 car was designed as an LMP-style prototype for the Bioracer series, which originally ran on biofuel (it now runs on regular unleaded petrol). Around 24 units were produced.
The Nissan 4.0L V6 engine was prepared from the very beginning of development in 2008 by Sodemo. A few years later, Sodemo and Tork were integrated into the Ligier brand, now well known in LMP categories.

Sequential Sadev SL90 gearbox (option to add paddle shifters, but this car still has the original manual lever – much more fun to drive in my opinion). The Sodemo ECU allows gear changes without the clutch and without lifting off the throttle.

This example is one of the best in existence. Unlike most of these cars, which were heavily used for track day rentals and accumulated high mileage, this one has had very limited use after the championships. It has competed in only about three races, then saw very little running for many years, which explains its low mileage and only around 50 hours total running time since new. The engine is still sealed from the factory.

In 2024/2025, it underwent a full overhaul and is now in perfect condition, both cosmetically and mechanically.

Work carried out in 2024/2025:

• Full gearbox rebuild (invoice available: €12,000)

• New clutch

• Replacement of all wheel bearings

• Replacement of suspension rod ends

• Completely new fuel system

• Installation of Accusump system

• New brake and clutch master cylinders

• Installation of a three-camera system with recording, used as a rear-view mirror

• Full general inspection

Extras included:

• Two exhaust systems: the original, plus a quieter version for track days with sound limits under 98 dB

• Two complete sets of wheels
