Rassler Racing offers for sale its’ iconic 1965 Ford Mustang.

Without doubt this is the most recognised Mustang competing in the last few years. Well known for its’ yellow and black colour scheme at the Goodwood Members Meeting and the Silverstone Festival it is the favourite of both crowd and commentators. Driven by Alex Taylor and Andy Priaulx the car always features near the front of any field in which it participates. Scalextric have produced a model of the car in full livery.

The car was built in 2016/17 from a roadgoing car, which before being imported into the UK around 2015 was a one owner car from new, and came from a west coast dry state.

Included is the original handbook, and a mass of bills from the one lady owner, and the US produced sales document.

Built by Trevor Taylor, Tony Absolom and John Freeman the car has FIA papers to the end of 2027. No expense has been spared in the preparation and running of this car, and is offered for sale following a repaint.

The car has the latest spec Steve Warrior engine along with the latest cams, a Top Loader gearbox, electric power steering and everything you would expect on a top running car. The last outing was at the 2025 Masters Brands Festival where it finished in 2nd place and was the first Mustang home. The car has competed successfully at Spa including the 3 hour and the 6 hour races and is fitted with a long range tank for these events.

Many spares, including 16 wheels; a brand new unused set of Dunlop Racing tyres, a spare rebuilt Top Loader gearbox, and a brand new four branch manifold (never fitted).

The asking price is £130,000 for the full package.
