This car is number 7 in a sequence of 8 cars built by Jim Sword across a 50 year period.
I bought it a couple of years ago with the best intentions of restoring it and getting it back out but as is often the case, life gets in the way.
It has a GSXR 1000 K2 engine and gearbox, flatshifter up and down gear change, LSD with chain drive, Independent front and rear brakes with balance bar, wiring loom by track electronics with modified ECU, Evodash electronic dash, GL Pro gear change indicator, Willwood calipers and sits on Oz centre lock magnesium wheels. Also comes with a spare set of magnesium wheels for dry slicks.

It needs some recommissioning and I suspect its been at least 4/5 years since it was last run. It's been poorly painted before so I started wrapping it thinking it was an easy task...it definitely isn't. Looks okay from a distance but poor up close. If I was keeping it, I'd strip, flatten and repaint all the panels to get it back to it's original glory.
Unfortunately Jim passed away last year but I can put the purchaser in touch with a previous owner who bought it from him and campaigned it with his son for many years.
The youtube video below is of one of the earlier iterations of his designs at Forrestburn hillcimb but gives you an idea of how capable these are.
