Practically new. After installation, maybe 10 km were driven. The concept of the car and the budget have changed, so this super carbon shaft is on sale. Weight only: 6.6 kg. Fully operational. Balanced. Dimensions shown in the photos.

Driveshaft was made for Lancer EVO X and it’s drive train but it can be use for Proto Cars and other projects.

MANUFACTURER'S DESCRIPTION:

The manufacturer guarantees the strength of the shafts at the level of up to 1000 Nm, but the strength tests carried out at the Gdańsk University of Technology made it possible to check and steel the static/dynamic strength of the shafts at the level of 3500 Nm (maximum 3800 Nm).

The carbon drive shaft "Krawczyk Steel & Carbon Driveshafts" is made of Certified materials, i.e. carbon fiber, resin, aluminum and other components used in production.

Each shaft is dynamically balanced on a measuring device, a Schenck balancer.

LOW WEIGHT

• The carbon shaft is 50-60% lighter than the steel equivalent. The reduction of weight, vibration and deformation during operation results in less wear of components

RESILIENCE

• 3-4 times stronger than the steel equivalent. Tested durability at the level of 3900 Nm (spider cut, other driveshafts components intacted).

BETTER PERFORMANCE

• The lowest moment of inertia with a multiple increase in mechanical strength. Increased performance in acceleration due to the lower rotating mass.

CONSTRUCTION

• The use of one-piece drives due to the stiffness of the carbon reduces the number of shaft components that can fail.

RESISTANCE

• No corrosion and resistance to chemical agents, low thermal conductivity.

SERVICE LIFE

• Carbon fiber wears out more slowly than steel or aluminum.
