Description:
A unique one off car with the purpose to race from day one. Modified during the winter 1962-63 to promote the new MG Midget to the Swedish market. It was fitted with aluminium rear wings, doors and GT-fast back top. Front was made in GRP. Engine and wheels from Cooper FJ
Full documented history including the rebuilding by BMC and the famous drivers racing the Swedish championship in the 60-ies. The complete 1965 season the car was raced by Reine Wisell, one of Swedens most talented F1 driver with good result.
Present owner resqued it the first time 1970-72. Later again from 1999 until today.
Now completely restored back to 1965 specification with Int HTP valid until 2032
Peter May steel 1293cc engine with twin SU´s. Straight cut gear box and limited slip diff
