This Van Diemen two seater has been specified by Jan Lammers Racing in 1996 to give passengers an ultimate racing exoperience . The original Ford Cosworth YBM Race Engine has been replaced by a Honda S2000 engine with 240 HP at 8.300 rpm in 2013 for improved durability.  This downforce car is ideal for circuit racing, track days, hill climb racing, corporate events or sheer fun. Lap times comparable to those of Formula 3 from the same period.

• Exceedingly stiff dense aluminium honeycomb monocoque, bonded to a composite top body section. Very safe driver and fuel capsule. Weight 525 kg including fluids. 
• Front splitter  with brake cooling pic ups, flat bottom with rear diffusor.
• Van Diemen 4 speed transverse gearbox with sequential change, oil pump for cooled lubrication of gears/bearings  and integral oil tank for the engine oil. Designed for extreme low engine position in the chassis. Flywheel diameter only 213 mm ! 
• The gearbox has been professionally re-engineered for extended durability.
• Standard Honda F20C engine with dry sump, electrical water pump, specific alternator.
• Electrical power steering with adjustable power assistance starting from no assistance.
• Freely programable engine management system.
• AIM dashboard and data logging system.
• RVS exhaust headers with titanium muffler. Additional removable dB killer.
• Billet aluminium rear uprights from aerospace aluminium for extra strength.
• AP racing F3 calipers with floating vented front and rear discs. Recently replaced.
• In cockpit adjustable bias and rear roll bar.
• Brakes and clutch just only used during two track day sessions of 30 minutes.
• Two sets of OZ centre lock magnesium wheels.
• Lots of spares and gear ratio’s.
• Full documentary from the  Van Diemen Heritage with Genuine Chassis Certificate, copy of original drawings, parts list, setups etc.
